A need to rationalise its telecommunications services and carriers and reduce costs led Australia’s largest radio broadcaster Austereo to carry out an extensive tender process.

Mr Des DeCean, Group General Manager, Engineering and IT for Austereo said, "We needed to focus in on who could deliver added value to our network and at the same time streamline our services and costs."

Mr DeCean added, "Interest was drawn from all the major players in the telecommunications sector, however Panaseer was successful because they were able to deliver a mix of carrier diversity and solutions that best suit each application within Austereo."
